Showcasing heat pump technology at HQ open day

21 February 2024

STIEBEL ELTRON UK will host an open day where it will highlight the benefits of heat pumps among consumers and installers alike.

With demand for sustainable heating technologies growing, STIEBEL ELTRON is hosting the event to share its knowledge in a bid to increase the adoption of heat pumps across the UK throughout 2024 and beyond.

Taking place at its headquarters in Bromborough on Saturday 24th February from 10am – 2pm, attendees will gain access to STIEBEL ELTRON’s renewable heating product showroom to learn more about the technology.

Giving them hands-on experience with heat pumps, STIEBEL ELTRON aims to educate and connect homeowners with installer partners during the event in a bid to see them transition to renewable heating solutions seamlessly.

Attendees will gain access to a wide variety of both air and ground source heat pumps during the event, while learning from the company’s technicians on how they can work in home settings, their performance, and the energy savings they can deliver.

The company’s team will also be on hand to offer advice on whether those attending are eligible for, and likely to benefit from the Government’s £7,500 heat pump grant scheme, which is designed to help consumers transition away from gas boilers.

Meanwhile, installers will have the opportunity to meet STIEBEL ELTRON’s installer partners, who will share their heat pump technology knowledge, as well as providing information about the training and support package the company offers to all installers it works with.

STIEBEL ELTRON has been driving the adoption of heat pumps across the UK, with the company providing the most innovative technologies as well as delivering comprehensive training to installers who will be able to fit them.

Following an initial £350,000 investment into a new state-of-the-art training centre and programme in November 2022, the company expanded its facility in September last year to increase capacity for new heat pump installers.

Having trained more than 650 installers with in-depth industry knowledge and expertise to date, STIEBEL ELTRON UK provides each trained installer with a post-course package which ensures that high-quality, technical support is available to them at all times.

As well as supporting the growth of the UK’s heat pump market, the company is committed to growing every aspect of the business throughout 2024, from investing in new renewable energy technologies and products, to further developing its training facilities and workforce.

Mark McManus, STIEBEL ELTRON UK Managing Director, said: “Consumers are increasingly looking to move away from gas boilers and what we want to do is give them the information they need to make an informed decision.

“The aim of is by no means to give them a hard sell, but simply to share our years of knowledge and expertise with a view to helping people who are thinking about using a heat pump in their homes.

“But it’s also about giving installers confidence in the product so that they have the know-how to advise their customers on the best heat pump they should use, as well as being able to outline the benefits they will bring.

“Demand for heat pumps is only going to grow in 2024, and STIEBEL ELTRON is committed to not only meeting this demand, but also offering support for both consumers and installers in the years ahead.”
