Panasonic has partnered with merchants Wolseley to showcase its Aquarea range of air-to-water heat pumps.
Richard Harvey, commercial director for Wolseley Plumbing and Heating, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Panasonic as we share many values – the two businesses are both longstanding and well known within the industry, have a good reputation and we share the same commitment to both people and sustainability.
"We are growing our renewables offering and Panasonic has an impressively wide range of units for all sizes of project. This new partnership will help both brands grow together in this market, where we can also offer training and open up new opportunities to further enhance and grow the market.”
The partnership kicked off with a team touring Wolseley plumbing merchants, taking Panasonic’s Aquarea Van to branches from Scotland to the south coast of England. The mobile unit is fitted with a working model of the Aquarea heat pump, which is available in Wolseley branches across the UK..
Charley Sawyer, area sales manager for Panasonic, said: “The road show programme provides an opportunity for us to talk directly with Wolseley’s customers, to educate and show working units to installers, and to help them more fully understand the technology and the benefits of heat pumps.
"Interest is high from installers looking to learn more about installing air source heat pumps, and this partnership provides a great way for us to reach more installers throughout the UK. Following the tour, Panasonic and Wolseley will come together again in the new year to offer training courses throughout the UK.”
