Expect Distribution is NIBE's new distribution partner
NIBE Energy Systems has announced a new partnership for its heat pump deliveries, with Expect Distribution to provide UK-wide transport coverage from June.
Robin Adderley, sales and marketing director of NIBE, said: “The heat pump sector is going from strength to strength, and we can expect this to continue in the coming years as we move towards the UK’s net zero carbon target. As a company, we are taking every step we can to support installers so they can deliver heat pumps into homes across the country, and our partnership with Expect Distribution is a huge part of our efforts to improve deliveries and product lead times.
“Covid-19 understandably placed strain on the transportation sector and this new chapter will help us to move forwards in the best way possible. We know that our installers will particularly welcome the implementation of an integrated IT solution, offering control over the dispatching of orders and tracking of vehicles. This will further support the recent improvements to internal processes to ensure that our estimated delivery times are more accurate.”
The partnership will go live on June 1, with NIBE expecting some disruption to its delivery service on May 28 and May 31 as a result of the transition.
Expect operates from its distribution centre in Bradford. Managing director Neil Rushworth said: “This partnership is a prime example of how we create solutions to match the needs of the client, and we will be working on a number of continuous improvements which have already been outlined in our negotiations with the NIBE team. NIBE is a progressive business with significant and targeted growth plans; we are delighted to be involved in providing a solid platform to support these and hopefully forming a lasting partnership between the two companies.”
