A new family-run business, Harvard Renewables, is helping homeowners across Greater London and the South-East to reap the benefits of switching to cleaner, greener home heating with air source heat pumps.
Harvard Heating, the team behind Harvard Renewables, is already well-established in Greater London, and they’re now bringing that experience to the fast-growing renewables sector.
“Our goal is to make air source heating pumps more accessible and less confusing,” said Bo Lindeman, Co-Director at Harvard Renewables. “We’re not a faceless national brand - we live and work in the area and care about making a real difference to local homes.”
The business is also committed to supporting the local economy by investing in apprentices and working with trusted tradespeople to ensure every installation is carried out to the highest standards.
“We believe in doing things properly - good service, honest advice, and supporting other local businesses to keep skills and investment in the community,” added Bill Taylor, Co-Director. “Heat pumps are the future, and we want to help more people access the generous government grants and take that step with confidence.”
Air source heat pumps are one of the most energy-efficient ways to heat a home, using the outside air to provide reliable warmth and hot water all year round.
They can reduce carbon emissions and are backed by government grants like the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme. As gas boilers are phased out, heat pumps offer a cleaner, future-proof alternative — and Harvard Renewables is making that transition easier for local families.
