Common questions and misconceptions about gas and low carbon heating apprenticeships will be addressed during a free webinar, helping businesses build a more skilled workforce.
Smart Energy Training is holding the webinar on Wednesday February 11 – during National Apprenticeship Week – to help demystify the process.
The short, 45-minute webinar is ideal for gas plumbing, heating and renewable energy installers, housing associations and local government workforce planners, energy suppliers, heating manufacturers and training managers in the energy sector.
Adam Kolaszynski, Centre Manager at Smart Energy Training, said: “Skilled gas and low carbon heating engineers are hard to find and are in increasing demand.
“Apprenticeships offer a practical, funded, long-term solution to help build the skills businesses need from within, improve retention and strengthen outcomes from day one.
“Despite this, many employers hesitate, unsure about the cost, commitment or how apprenticeships work. This short, informative webinar is designed to remove those barriers.”
Smart Energy Training will explain how apprenticeships can solve real workforce challenges and what support is available, whether a business is new to apprenticeships or looking to scale its workforce.

The webinar will cover the benefits of apprenticeships, the role of the employer, how apprenticeships are funded and the support on offer.
