Martyn Bridges, Director of Technical Services for Worcester Bosch comments on the Governments recent announcement of new funding towards making UK homes and public buildings more energy efficient.
Martyn said: “We welcome the latest funding from Government to improve Energy Performance Ratings across UK homes and public buildings. By installing efficiency measures like new windows and insulation, homeowners could see annual savings of up to £400 – which given the ongoing cost-of-living crises would be a welcome respite.
“It is also good to see funding going towards public sector buildings, which sometimes can be overlooked. This will not only help save emissions but slash their carbon emissions, which as we move towards net zero, can only be a positive.”
