Carrier Solutions UK recently led a select group of distributor partners and their top customers on an exclusive visit to its manufacturing facilities in Japan, home of the iconic Toshiba HVAC product range and the next-generation USX Edge modular heat pump.
The five-day programme included tours of the Carrier Japan Corporation Fuji Factory and the Tsuyama Factory. The trip also offered cultural highlights in Tokyo, delivering a unique opportunity to deepen professional relationships while immersing visitors in the heritage and future of Carrier technology.
“This trip was about more than just showcasing production excellence; it was about celebrating longstanding partnerships, many of which span decades,” said Dave McSherry, Sales Director, Carrier RLC UK. “For our guests to see first-hand the incredible care, precision and pride that goes into building Toshiba systems, including the latest USX units, was both powerful and memorable.”
Among those who attended were representatives from key Carrier Solutions UK distributors, such as Cool Designs Ltd, Hushon, DYSK, and Cool Solutions Distribution Ltd, as well as selected mechanical consultant engineers along with some key contractors and end-users. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the Fuji Factory and the Tsuyama Factory, a flagship facility for modular heat pump development and production.
“The Tsuyama site, where the USX Edge is made, was a real highlight,” said McSherry. “This wasn’t your average factory tour. Our visitors were genuinely impressed with the scale, sophistication and efficiency of the operation. Seeing the USX in production provided a new appreciation for its quality and the engineering behind it.”
“This trip was an investment in our customer relationships,” McSherry concluded. “Events like this underline the value we place on collaboration. Especially for distributing partners like CDL, CSD and Hushon, who’ve been in partnership with us for over 20 years. These experiences build connection, confidence and momentum for the future.”
