The boss micro from CAREL
CAREL has added the boss micro to its line-up of local monitoring solutions.
The micro uses the same interface as the boss and boss mini systems, and is aimed at convenience stores, petrol stations and quick service restaurants with a limited number of units that still require the same user experience and advanced system management functions.
CAREL says the micro natively integrates various communication channels to centralised data collection platforms. It comes in four different hardware versions, integrating a WI-FI hotspot and a 4G modem for local and/or remote access without requiring additional infrastructure. It is also said to implement the highest security standards to ensure that access to information is always controlled and secure.
The boss micro integrates with third-party devices and into BMS systems using common protocols, which CAREL says guarantees complete management of the system even in systems with multi-brand equipment.
