The property sector continues to rebound and, in particular, we are seeing significant demand for premium office space – as Ireland continues to attract inward investment and relocation of companies due to the low rate of corporation tax and dynamic workforce.”
It is not only the commercial market where Toshiba sees opportunity to grow in Ireland. The domestic market looks bright too. The Irish government sets itself the target to build 50,000 new private and state homes a year. Renewable energy systems are mandatory, which presents Toshiba with an opportunity to sell its heat pumps.
