Carter Thermal Industries (CTI) will make its debut at the Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution Show in Peterborough on June 25-26.
As well as sponsoring the inaugural World Refrigeration Day, which takes place on the second day of the show, the company says it will be showcasing the expertise of its divisional companies with the main focus on the part it plays in environmental technology and solutions, particularly with regard to natural refrigerant solutions with low global warming potential such as hydrocarbon and CO2-based systems.
Customers and representatives from Panasonic joined the Logicool team for a karting challenge at Daytona Racing in Tamworth to commemorate the distributor's 10-year anniversary.
With 30 participants, racing was very competitive and winners of the one-hour endurance race were long-term customer Paul Hetherington, from Intermech, and his race partner, Steve Hardiman from Logicool. Marc Newbold and Alister Bolstridge of Aircon Services Tamworth (a company which has been purchasing equipment for every one of the 10 years Logicool is celebrating), came in a close second and another long-term client, John Lewis of Brookair Danfab, and his karting partner, Dan Lewis of Logicool, were third. Hadyn Oxlyn and Indi Thamvithian from Panasonic were awarded the wooden spoon trophy for receiving the most black flags and driving over the grass verges during the race.
