Aermec UK is supporting its local community by sponsoring the under 11s blues team at Essex Royals Football Club.

The company is supporting the club by funding its kit for the next two seasons and helping to provide equipment including mobile goals, bibs and training ladders.
The team plays in Billericay, close to Aermec’s headquarters in Basildon. Paul Lawrence, managing director of Aermec, said: “Building relationships with local organisations can benefit everyone. Sponsoring the local team gives Aermec an opportunity to give back to the community – many of our employees and their families live locally. It helps raise our profile but more importantly it echoes our company’s ethos of valuing individuals, encouraging and promoting their well-being and enabling them to grow.”

The club was established in 1986 and during the 90s developed its “football for all” philosophy. In 2009 the club expanded further with the addition of a girls’ team and the Essex Royals also achieved Community Charter Standard, which is the highest level that can be achieved under the FA Charter Standard.

“Aermec is looking forward to some great football from Essex Royals. We will be looking out for the team’s results and progress for the coming seasons. Their enthusiasm and drive echoes many of Aermec’s values,” added Lawrence.
