Industry mourns the loss of Max Halliwell

Vice-chair of the Heat Pump Association and communications manager for residential heating at Mitsubishi Electric UK, Max Halliwell, has died suddenly.

Having worked for Mitsubishi Electric UK for 15 years as a product manager and then communications manager for residential heating, Max was elected to the Heat Pump Association as vice-chair in January 2021.

A statement released by Mitsubishi Electric UK said: 'Max was a beloved colleague and a passionate advocate for all that he did.  He will be deeply missed by us all.'

Juliet Loiselle of Warners Group commented: "The ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today Team were devastated to hear the shocking news of Max Halliwell's passing.  We have many fond memories of working together and have always admired his passion and tenacity.

"He will be sorely missed by all of us and we pass on our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues."
