Two Panasonic Aquarea T-Cap air to water heat pumps have helped to create an eco-friendly self-build dream home for a Cambridgeshire family.
Vincent and Jacqueline Haines wanted a reliable and renewable heating source to connect to two floors of underfloor heating for the 570sq ft Georgian-style property, in addition to a cost-effective supply of hot water for the kitchen and bathrooms.
Grant UK has added four new models to its Aerona³ R32 heat pump range,with outputs ranging from 6kW up to 17kW.
The Aerona³ R32 6kW and 10kW models will be direct replacements for the existing R410 6kW and 10kW models. The new 17kW model will supersede the R410 16kW heat pump and the Aerona³ R32 12kW heat pump will be replaced by the new 13kW model. These transitions are due to be completed later this summer.
Toshiba has launched the fifth generation of its ESTÍA air-to-water heat pump, designed to deliver energy efficient, low cost heating and cooling for homes and small commercial properties.
The ESTÍA range claims best-in-class Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 4.90 at an air temperature of +7°C and 3.01 at -7°C, setting a new benchmark for heat pumps of this type. It is available as a split system from 4 to 16kW and monobloc from 16 to 21kW and has an efficiency rating of A++ for space and combination heating.

The company has manufactured bespoke pipe components for heating and hot water distribution systems for the 44 blocks of accommodation, with ensuite bedrooms, housing almost 1,500 workers on the Hinkley Point C construction site in Somerset.
