Chinese air conditioning systems maker, Haier, launched its latest air conditioning system, the so-called 'Super Match', which uses R32 as its refrigerant, in China this week.
According to Haier, by using R32 refrigerant, the Super Match reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 70% compared to a system using R410A. The air conditioning system also boasts impressive low noise credentials, namely producing only 26 decibels.
Haier developed the 'Super Match' for developed economies, such as in Europe, Australia and the USA, where F-Gas legislation is driving end users to install more environmentally friendly cooling systems. However, for the first time, Haier is shipping its new product into Middle East having won a number of contracts for residential develops in the region.
