A new variable frequency drive (VFD) designed for CO2 refrigerant systems is to be launched by Invertek Drives at Chillventa 2018 in Nuremberg next month.
The VFD will be launched as part of a partnership with Danish company Reftronix, who will be introducing a new CO2 condensing unit controller to be used with the VFD. Both companies will be sharing a stand at the show (Hall 5, Stand 205).
Linde put its EVOS valves onto the market in 2015 which significantly improved the productivity of engineers and their companies. The valves have several safety and handling features. The valves can operate at 300 bar working pressure too.
The company is showing the new valves at Euroblech in Germany this week.
A-Gas, the refrigerant specialist, has launched a new website for its F-Gas reporting and cylinder-tracking tool, Gas-Trak Online (GTO).
Engineers can sign into their GTO account where they can find extensive support and a wide range of features to help them manage refrigerant and cylinders more easily.
GTO, a free download for smartphones and tablet PCs, was designed for contractors. Its latest feature is a cylinder fleet manager which saves time when tracking them. The complex task is made easier with GTO and it will help to save rental costs. Manual entry of cylinder numbers is no longer necessary. Contractors simply scan a barcode on the cylinder using the app.
