Waterloo Air Products has launched a larger barrel slot diffuser designed to give architects and building engineers greater flexibility in designing air movement systems. The new CSB 25 reinforces Waterloo’s range of air terminal devices, offering a, multi-directional answer to optimising air flow in large spaces.
It has 100mm long barrels, which can be positioned to deliver air precisely to the left, right or vertically. Waterloo has engineered the CSB 25 to be as narrow as possible, giving a sleeker appearance within the overall room design, whilst delivering maximum performance and control.
The diffuser’s aesthetics are enhanced with a rounded fascia, and can be ordered in any RAL colour. There is also a range of decorative finishes.
CIAT has launched its new series of air handling units (AHUs), the CLIMACIAT range. There are three models in the range, namely the Airtech, Airclean and Airaccess AHUs.
They are efficient, easy to install and ideal for commercial applications. The AHUs comply with European standards EN 13053 and EN 1886, and they are designed to be ready for regulations which come into force in 2018.
CIAT has spent a log time researching and developing the new, modular range which can be easily customised to customer requirements.

Munters has recently added energy efficient plug fans to their portfolio of products. Installed by Munters experienced, in-house service engineers, these new plug fans are designed to improve energy efficiency and reliability.
Designed to replace older belt driven fan technology, direct drive plug fan technology removes the need for belts or pulleys, resulting in fewer losses and less maintenance. Proven to reduce fan/motor energy consumption by around 30% and fan/motor running costs by 50% (estimated), plug fans typically deliver return on investment in less than 2 years.
