Tickets are selling fast for the IOR Annual Dinner, which will take place on 21 February 2019 at the Grange St Paul's Hotel in London.
Billed as the original Fridge Dinner, the event gives industry members the chance to meet with colleagues and old friends, network and support the IOR’s charitable objectives.
- The Ted Perry Award for Student Excellence rewards individuals at the beginning of their careers by recognising creative post graduate student who have undertaken an exceptional research project solving a practical issue.
- The prestigious J&E Hall Gold Medal is an internationally respected award given to an individual or team considered to have made the most noteworthy contribution to the advancement of refrigeration and related technologies.
- The IOR Achievement Award rewards an exceptional service engineer known for his or her outstanding technical knowledge, extensive experience in the sector and impeccable customer service.
- The Kenneth Lightfoot Medal is presented for the best presentation given to members in the previous 12 months.
Tickets include a welcome drinks reception, a three-course meal including 1/2 bottle wine per person, an after-dinner speaker and entertainment. There will also be fundraising to support the two chosen charities, the IOR president's fund for education initiatives and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
