DencoHappel, the German-owned chiller and heat pump manufacturers, has released a manual to help contractors understand how to correctly integrate their products into a circuit.
DencoHappel makes chillers and heat pumps which range in capacity from 5 kW to 2,500 kW. The company found that contractors often do not understand how to correctly design the hydraulic circuit for a cold and hot water systems. As a result, circuits are prone to faults and do not run as energy efficiently as possible.
The manual includes diagrams and charts to illustrate details clearly, as well as more theoretical sections to help readers understand the principles and components behind the systems. In addition, the manual helps with planning and system controls. DencoHappel designed the manual so it can be used by first-time users as a reference tool.
