REFCOM is warning that most registered businesses in the industry will need to renew their F-Gas certification this year.
It is now eight years since the F-Gas Regulations came into effect in the UK, with most companies who are registered and compliant to work in the sector having full certification by 2011. The certificates have a three-year validity period, with the first renewals taking place in 2014, meaning that the majority of businesses will need to renew again in 2017.
A-Gas has launched its new refrigerant recovery service in the UK, saying it is 'the right product at the right time'.
Rapid Recovery, which was bought by A-Gas last year, claims performance around 10 times faster than traditional recovery methods and five teams are now in place around the country.
Membership scheme operator NAPIT completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Chesterfield-based charity, Ashgate Hospicecare.
The challenge involves three mountains over 24 miles in 14 hours and the team was made up of a variety of age ranges and abilities from NAPIT departments and included Chief Executive Mike Andrews. Partners from NAPIT Drive and NAPIT Insurance also took part.
