FLIR Systems has launched a new multi-purpose environmental meter for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration measurements.
The FLIR EM54, based on hygrometer technology, identifies deviations from ambient relative humidity levels, which can cause static hazards at manufacturing sites and discomfort in homes and offices. It aims to help users quickly and accurately identify symptoms of clogged filters, duct leaks that reduce airflow, and overloaded systems.
REFCO welcomed more than 100 guests from 30 countries to Lucerne to help celebrate its 45th anniversary.
The Swiss manufacturer of service tools and components for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry has grown significantly since 1972, with exports now accounting for more than 95 per cent of its total sales. Customers and business partners joined REFCO employees and their families to hear chief executive Manfred P. Ulrich outline plans for expansion into new markets and the continued development of new products.
Guests were able to tour the company's headquarters, as well as Manometer and Feinwerktechnik Wiegand, to see the manufacturing processes and learn about new products, including REFCO's condensate pumps and wireless pressure and temperature set, TAP.
