Refrigerant manufacturer and supplier Mexichem has launched Klea R407H as a lower GWP alternative to refrigerants including R404A and R507 in medium and low temperature applications.
The result of a partnership with Daikin, Klea 407H has a GWP of 1495 and in many cases can be used as a drop-in solution. Efficiency testing has shown it to have comparable COP to both R404A and other replacement products, including HFO blends.
REFCO welcomed more than 100 guests from 30 countries to Lucerne to help celebrate its 45th anniversary.

Customers and business partners joined REFCO employees and their families to hear chief executive Manfred P. A significant number of European retail professionals who responded to a survey by Emerson said they were unaware of upcoming regulatory changes related to the phase down of HFCs as refrigerants.
The study showed that the retail industry was lagging behind schedule due to a lack of clarity in regulatory changes and replacement technologies available, with 40 per cent of respondents unaware of the changes and nearly half (44 per cent) either yet to make the shift, or unsure. However, 81 per cent of respondents viewed the shift from HFCs to natural refrigerants as a positive change.
