SURE Solutions has completed a £1million contract for a multi-national dairy producer to provide a complete redesign of its refrigeration capabilities and provide 5,200Kw of cooling.
The project has enabled Muller Milk and Ingredients to significantly increase production at its Droitwich facility.

The client is part of the Muller Group, which supplies major supermarkets with both own-brand and branded dairy products.
The project was awarded to North West-based SURE in January and was completed for use in May. Muller performed two validation tests to prove that the 5,200Kw capacity was available at full production load, with one in July and the other in August.

Gino Taj, Engineering Improvement Manager for Muller, said: “SURE Solutions was selected for the Droitwich Site Refrigeration Project, which involved complex design improvements and a very tight installation schedule.
“SURE performed the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer and also supplied and installed 4mW of temporary cooling for the factory whilst the work was completed. The project was delivered and controlled well by SURE and its site engineering team. It was recognised at senior level that there was no interruption to the capacity of the site and meeting our customer orders.''
This success of the Droitwich project was quickly followed by an order to improve refrigeration capacity at another Muller production facility.
SURE Solutions was established in August 2016 by Director Garry Shaw, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the refrigeration industry, starting out as an apprentice engineer and then working his way through the ranks as a projects engineer, project manager, sales engineer and sales and design executive.

Rob Wharton joined the business three months after the launch and SURE now employs 11 staff, with plans for further recruitment.
The business designs, installs and maintains industrial refrigeration solutions for large food suppliers throughout the UK, with clients including Muller UK, Cranswick Group, Bakkavor Group and Youngs Seafoods.
Garry Shaw said: “As a relatively new business, we are very happy with the progress we have made, which illustrates the high standard of technical and engineering qualities which we are able to provide to our clients.
“SURE Solutions has enjoyed phenomenal progress in just over 14 months, from initial start-up to securing more than £4m in orders and employing 11 staff.
“Our development is being supported by a healthy number of potential orders in the pipeline for 2018 and we have plans to employ a further two engineers and an engineering apprentice in the near future.
“We have a core strength of technical expertise and have taken on a team of staff who are also very experienced in the industry, with a total in excess of 200 years across the board in the refrigeration sector.
